Demo Song

Background Information

One review of U2’s performance in McGonagles in 1979, lists many of the songs that the band played during the show, including covers of “Wild Youth,” “Your Generation,” “I2XU,” and “The Killing of Georgie.” But it also mentions two original songs that the band played at that performance in May 1979, “Concentration Cramp” and “The Ghost of Shadows of Princess and Tall Trees.” The review? Attributed to none other than Bill Graham, who had taken an early interest in the bands career.
