"Wake Up and Dream" (2010)
Demo Song
Background Information
In the summer of 2010, before the U2360 resumed, U2 worked on some recording sessions in Julian Lennon’s studio in the South of France. While there recording, they invited Lennon to take some photographs of them working on the songs, and he also traveled with the band, shooting them in concert in Vienna, as well as some shots of The Edge on a plane.
One of the photos is Edge looking at a white board that says “Wake Up and Dream” – it could be a song title, it could be an album title, it could be just the theme of the day, but for completeness we wanted to include it here, as most songs start as titles on white boards in U2’s studio work. Although there is nothing more accompanying those four words to conclusively say it is a song.
